Our Client in the Manufacturing and FMCG Industry is looking for a Credit Controller to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain an effective selling and credit control system for accounts receivables.
- Provide the Sales function with financial order management support to control credit exposure.
- Approval/disapproval of Sales Orders for credit customers to manage and minimize the company’s credit exposure.
- Identify areas of growth and review trading terms
- Projection of weekly and monthly collections from debtors.
- Periodic reconciliation of customer accounts
- Analyse debt and recommend appropriate recovery action.
- Daily computation and review of Route Profitability for all sales routes.
- Produce monthly collection reports and monitor Age Analysis reports.
- Regularly reviewing and maintaining credit limits on existing accounts.
- Providing information as requested by internal/external auditors and closing out on all findings to do with credit control within the agreed timelines.
- Carrying out quarterly performance reviews within the finance department.
Qualifications and Required Skills
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance, ACCA CIMA.
- At least 5 years’ experience on a similar post, preferably in an FMCG environment.
- High levels of accuracy.
Bulawayo based.
