The position of Financial Director for a recognised and respected group of companies operating in the financial services sector is offered.

The chosen person shall oversee the direction and operation of the finance department and IT division, which provide service to Head Office and its subsidiaries. It is an employer of choice and deliberately fosters a spirit of professional innovation while being complete results orientated. You are expected to provide exceptional leadership with revenue and cost reduction objectives to include strategic management and daily direction of this well-staffed department across a geographically diverse organisation.
This job is not for the faint hearted as we seek an energetic (Public Registered) Chartered Accountant or similar, preferably 35 years of age upwards with a proven track record from a private or ZSE listed company. Previous experience from ONLY a successful trading financial institution would be a distinct advantage. Naturally, you will have a proven ability to cope with the local economic challenge ahead and focused on the future opportunity. You must display a very creative approach to dealing with this critical aspect of this senior post. As a good communicator, you must create an excellent rapport with all stakeholders and customers with the ability and gravitas to influence.
This senior role forms part of an EXCO executive team and naturally rewards very well for your services. Some travel is envisaged.
