The Chief Operating Officer will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will support all divisions across commercial services, branch operations, technology, finance, risk, compliance, digital, exchange control, treasury, international, personal, and corporate banking, and other future development activities for the Bank.

This encompassing role and responsibility will provide thought support leadership and strategic vision to optimize the performance and growth of the Commercial Bank in liaison with the CEO and Board of Directors’ vision.

This position will ensure the drive, development, and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems and methods to meet the current and future needs of growth and expansion plans ever evolving in the banking and financial services sector. Your resounding developed skill in staying abreast of short-term and long-range industry and economic trends and projected impact on future operations is a keen ability required to lead the COO activities and its demanding functions.

This role will work collaboratively with all divisions to execute strategies and plans to achieve best-in-class member service while meeting service level standards, improving overall performance, and creating efficiencies to achieve desired metrics. The Bank’s charter must be completed to meet its goals for the future, harnessed and supported by a young leadership team at the various Heads of Divisions. Your overall knowledge of the financial services sector proactively identifies efficiency issues and proposes the required solutions. You are the go-to person to resolve daily operational matters to ensure optimisation trade and profit are achieved.
