Our client has been established for many years, listed under the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange, and is looking for a suitable person to fill the above position.
Role:
To control the inbound and outbound movement of stock at the warehouses. Continuously monitors stock levels and recommends re-order
Manage Store’s Clerks in all the group warehouses and stores.
Supervise three Warehouses.
Supervises the preparation and maintenance of all documentation associated with inbounds of stock from suppliers and outbound to sub-contractors by the Store’s Clerks
- Supervises receiving and issuing out of inventory
- Adherence to Warehouse and Procurement policies
- Monitors Inventory counts and investigates variances
- Ensures security of Warehouse area and inventory Fire extinguishers, fireguards
- Manages transportation and allocation of inventory between Warehouses
- Notifies respective departments on stock levels and weekly stock holding
- Tracking usage run rates, forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and stock-outs
- Prepares Month-end reports for Group input
- Prepares Importation splits for costing of inventory
- Prepares Inventory Status and critical materials reports
- Identifies breach of policy and through the Finance Manager, arranges for the necessary action
- Review Posted Warehouse Financial entries into Financial System as per the Accounting Policy and Procedures Manual
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Purchasing and Supply or equivalent
- Experience in Warehouse or Inventory Management
