Our Client in the Manufacturing and FMCG Industry is looking for a Risk, Loss and Governance Manager. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position. The incumbent reports to the Finance Executive.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development, communication and implementation of robust information governance processes, policies, and practices across the Organisation by working with colleagues to inform, improve and strengthen the information governance remit to deliver services efficiently, effectively, securely and confidentially.
  • Establishing and maintaining a data audit and validation programme across the organisation and ensuring full participation from key individuals
  • Compilation of monthly management reports through coordinating inputs from department heads and line managers.
  • Overseeing and interfacing with both internal and external auditors to ensure timely completion and closure of identified gaps within the business.
  • Developing procedures and controls to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements as well as good business practices.
  • Establishing and overseeing formal risk analysis and self-assessments program for various Information Services systems and processes.
  • Overseeing Security Systems, policies, standards, guidelines and baselines.
  • Ensuring policies are reviewed and updated annually.
  • Maintaining expertise on security trends through training, research and development to mitigate potential security exposures.
  • Managing and developing loss control programs and administering risk management programs related to operating risk, insurance, and any class of financial risk.
  • Providing input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.

THE PERSON

The ideal applicant should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related financial qualification.
  • A Chartered Accountant qualification would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • At least three years’ work experience in an FMCG environment.

Salary: Negotiable (Paid in ZWL plus allowances)
