Summary of Position
Area sales managers are responsible for tracking, recording, and monitoring sales teams within the region
Duties
- Develop and implement sales strategies to ensure that profitability targets are met
- Identify both struggling and successful sales initiatives and explore ways to improve on sales metrics
- Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships
- Communicate actively with sales teams in a given area to help foster a team environment
- Ensuring merchandising standards are met
- Plan and execute sales meetings to help provide feedback and sales insights
- Sales reports and providing input for business plans and budgets
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Marketing, Business Studies, International Marketing or similar
- FMCG experience
